John 17: 20-23 NIV

“that all of them may be one”

Within the body of Christ there is one faith, with many different groups, called denominations and their are some things we do that are very

different from each other but we all share the same common beliefs that.

Christ has died

Christ is risen

Christ will come again

Christians will never organize their Churches all in the same way. They will never worship God all in the same way. They will never even all believe precisely the same things. But Christian unity transcends all these differences and joins men together in love. Only love implanted in men's hearts by God can tear down the barriers which they have erected between each other and between their Churches.

William Barclay

In Christ alone

we have

Unity

The unity God has proposed for the Church is achieved as each member functions in their calling.

Unity of the Body of Christ

Paul empowered by the Holy Spirit wrote:

“As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit-- just as you were called to one hope when you were called-- one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” (Ephesians 4:1-6 NIV).

Paul’s message of Christian Unity:

We are all worthily of one’s calling (v1b)

We all have the spirit of God for oneness in Christ. (2-3)

There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all that sustains the Unity of the Body. (4-6)

In 2017 lets act on Paul’s message of Unity, by working closer together, witnessing to our oneness and fulfil the prayer of Jesus:

“that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” John 17:m 21

Psalm 133

How good and pleasant it is

when brothers live together

 in unity!

Standing at the

Crossroad

Unity

disunity

Which road

will you chose?

“that all of them may be one”

(John 17: 21)

Let us remember that it’s only through the love of God and our love for each other that the prayer of Jesus can be fulfilled and  we can become one.

The express will of God,  will not be denied. It will happen!

Oneness is a foregone conclusion. It only remains for each Christian to decide if he or she will be a part of it, or will try to stand against it.

Jesus Christ is issuing the call to oneness in his church from many quarters. It’s time for the church heed to the call to oneness each one of us now stands at the crossroads.

Which road will you take the road to Unity or stay on the road of disunity?

It’s time to stand together and raise the banner of Christian unity over the church of the Living God, the Almighty Father, and his son, Jesus Christ.

Unity in India urgently need your prayers

Rev.K.Chaitanya Kumar

All over the world Christians are being persecuted for their faith and love for Jesus.

We at Unity call on all Christians no matter what denomination or differences you may have to come together as one Body in Christ Jesus.

Praying for each other and for all those that persecute us as one body of love.

Jesus said “But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you”

Matthew 5: 44
